Most improved = SF
They added a bunch of FAs on defense in the off-season and Alex Smith has another year of experience under his belt.
Biggest disappointment = Minnesota
They regressed on offense by not acquiring a legit starter at QB, which means Tavaris Jackson is going to take some hits (especially on his confidence). Their WRs are a platoon of nobodies and never-have-beens, and their pass defense remains questionable at best. At least the Viking fans will have a few good performances to watch from Adrian Peterson this season to tide them over.
