09-01-2007, 10:21 PM Anonymous Four Way Trade My league scores running backs and wide recievers one point for every ten yards and six points for a touchdown.  Each reception counts for .5 of a point.   So in this four way trade I would give up willis mcgahee, santonio holmes, and carnell williams.  In return, I would get steve smith, mark clayton, and marion barber.  I am having a pretty tough time deciding on what to do. My league starts: 2qb 3rb 4wr 1te 1def/st 1k   If I go through with the trade, my starting running backs would probably be Addai, Lynch, and Barber.  My starting recievers would be Owens, Smith, Calvin Johnson, Clayton

Your current roster...the 6 starters mentioned total 74.16 Addai (15.48 ppg) McGahee (14.77 ppg) Lynch (10.79 ppg) Williams (Assuming Bench) Holmes (8.00 ppg) Owens (14.40 ppg) Johnson (10.72 ppg) 4th WR not mentioned Your proposed roster...the 7 starters identified total 90.83 Addai (15.48 ppg) Lynch (10.79 ppg) Barber (8.97 ppg) Smith (18.21 ppg) Clayton (12.26 ppg) Owens (14.40 ppg) Johnson (10.72 ppg) Unless your 4th WR not mentioned above gets more than 16.67 ppg, your average PPG is going to improve.  You are compromising your RB depth a bit but you have to decide if you are comfortable with that.  Smith is fantasy elite, especially in your format.  Let me know if you have anything to add.  Aaron T.
